To me, it means a time of sharing love. Unfortunately, a lot of time it gets so crazy busy, that the love part seemed over-riden by irritation. But there comes a moment, when everything slows down a bit and that's when the love appears. I try to decorate my home to show this warmth and I try not to get frazzled. I dress up more during December even if I'm not going anywhere or seeing anyone. I think the lights look so welcoming on people's homes and I wish we would leave them up through bleak January! And it means Hope too. Hope for a better world; one that is filled with peace and goodwill.
About Six-Word Questions
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?
