It was all natural until 6 months ago, when I decided to finally cover up the gray. But seriously, it's almost too much trouble for me, and I'm considering just letting the gray come naturally.
Oops--forgot to mention hair color. Mainly brown with gray coming in. One lady even described me recently as 'salt and pepper'. Wow. Thanks. That's when I finally colored my hair for the first time.
Currently very dark brown with a red tint. When I was a toddler, my hair was white-blonde but it turned light brown. It's been every color of the rainbow and usually red. It was black, recently, and I can't get the color lighter without bleaching it so I'm just letting it grow out. Which, for me, is painful. My hair changes a lot.
Basic light brown, and I used to have it frosted. Now have it colored to cover gray coming in. Again, still light brown with red tints done by beauty salon.
;)@ CF. I pay a lot of money to make it look like it is, how's that? Chestnut brown is my natural color, from birth, but my hairdresses does a marvelous job of hiding the gray that has crept in.
Au natural brunette with a few wayword white strands; not grey. And since I have a hint of red tones in my hair, I sometimes look like a redhead in photos.
Redhead who hasn't colored in over 6mos. All the "silver" coming in has lightened my hair substantially. After I cut enough off to donate, I plan to dye it very red again.
ba-miracle, just to let you know, that Locks of Love and other places that accept donated hair, will accept hair that has been colored. They also accept gray hair too. I try to donate my hair every two years, and with the gray coming in now, I was worried that they wouldn't take my hair. Total opposite.
After rinsing for so many years got somewhat tired and finally went natural. Believe it or not so many people compliment my salt and pepper hair I might not ever rinse again. And that's people of all ages. I love it. Also use shimmer on it so gray doesn't turn yellow.
Blond, lighter blond with help from the hairdresser and chlorine from swimming. I see some grey hair but it blends with the blond and looks like white blond so it isn't obvious. I am ok with grey. That is why God made hairdressers.
