Hannahmo says,

1. People who think they know everything
2. Bad table manners
3. Books that end with a cliffhanger
4. Parents who obviously favor one child over the other
5. Pointless "reality" shows
6. Radio stations that play the same song over and over again

unknown116 says,

1. Guys who check out girls when they are with their girl friend/wife (gender vice versa)
2. Meaningless piercings
3. People who don't respect others
4. Suspense movies
5. Boring novels
6. Chipped nail polish

Wench says,

1. Needy people.
2. Overbearing/manipulative people.
3. Toilet seats left up (just the icing on the I-don't-my-mother-in-law-and-her-husband-visiting cake)
4. Having to ask twice. Three times or more drives me crazy.
5. When people 'offer' opinions but are offended if your decisions don't reflect them.
6. People who ask to smoke while my baby is in the house. Seriously, if your addiction is so bad that you can't wait for us to leave before subjecting his lungs to that, at least go outside.

ctgoods2 says,

Bullies;
Stories that end as if it was all just a dream;
Open mouth chewers - (I swear it makes me nearly batshit);
Mechanical pencils;
Poor excuses;
Shirtlessness in the kitchen - (gross AND dangerous).

Dragonflower says,

1. Kitchen cupboards left open.
2. Shopping carts left randomly in the parking lot or shopping center. This is probably my #1 at the moment. I have begun to make it a habit to bring a cart back to the store (not mine, but a random one). It just feels like it is a courtesy to other shoppers. Meaning, (1)you reduce the chance of the cart rolling away and hitting someone's car if you take the few minutes to take it back to its proper holding place and(2) it's like cleaning up after yourself. Leaving carts all over the place just feels so rude to me.
3. The word slather. Not sure it this counts as a pet peeve, but the word really makes me crazy. Don't know why.

Dragonflower says,

4. Being told "don't worry about it" when I've expressed a concern about something. It just feels so dismissive and disrespectful
5. my own habit that annoys me: leaving the dishes in the sink overnight.
6. Commercials or sitcoms where the wife berates or belittles her husband.

lovelylizard says,

1. People who don't use directionals when driving
2. People who complain endlessly
3. Slow drivers
4. People who take, but don't contribute
5. Religious zealots
6. Fox News

Dragonflower says,

This will be #7 for me, but I just thought of it today while driving and said "I've got to add this one because it really, really pet peeves me."
When you are driving and you politely (and lawfully) stop to allow someone to cross the street in the crosswalk and the walking person waves angrily at you to move on. They even frown.

A simple wave of the hand would suffice. No need for all the negativity. Note to self: Talk to therapist about this reaction. Mine, not the cross walk person's. Could be a clue to something deep.

unknown116 says,

Lovelylizard, what's a "zealot"?
Autumn, I know how you feel with that one.
