Once upon a time ago...Corn mazes, the sound of crunching leaves underfoot, apples (so many apples), mums, cerulean skies, shiny acorns, sweaters, cider, hay rides, wineries, drying herbs, chowder, wood smoke, chili with cheese and red onions, boots...and so much more.
Now, nothing. There is nothing to distinguish Florida October from Florida June or Florida August or even Florida December. My favorite season of the year is now my saddest.
