jl333 says,

1. Breast Cancer Awareness month
2. Fewer people on the water jetskiing
3. Not so dang hot, but still warm enough to wear shorts
4. Off-roading season begins (quads, motorcycles, and mini buggys)
5. Can plant my sugar snap peas
6. Watching kids get excited about Halloween.

Redx3 says,

Once upon a time ago...
Corn mazes, the sound of crunching leaves underfoot, apples (so many apples), mums, cerulean skies, shiny acorns, sweaters, cider, hay rides, wineries, drying herbs, chowder, wood smoke, chili with cheese and red onions, boots...and so much more.
Now, nothing. There is nothing to distinguish Florida October from Florida June or Florida August or even Florida December. My favorite season of the year is now my saddest.

accidentaltourist says,

Reds and golds that lead my eyes everywhere at once and lure me down woodland paths.
Leaves that swirl overhead and crunch underfoot.
Apple cider and cinnamon donuts.
Scary movies and haunted houses.
Tricks that lead to sweet, sweet treats.
Spicy sweet crunch of candy apples!
