Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett at the Mann Center. Lyle had a broken leg and sat for the whole performance. Didn't matter. The music was amazing. Made me think, how boring would it have been to see Pantera if everyone sat on a stool?
I was 17 (that was a "few" years ago I'm 43;-). Lost my shoes at the rail and barely held on to it for a minuet before going under the crowed. One of my best friends at the time (whom I later engaged). Pulled me up out from under...it was a blast! The day before that concert I had stepped on a 16 penny nail and didn't tell my foster mom until the day after. Actually I didn't tell her, my foot was huge! Worth every bit of pain and trouble I got into to.
So hard to choose just one!
It has to be the time I saw Prince twice in one day in 2007- once in an intimate concert at Macy's in MPLS and then later that night at The Target Center. My friend stood in line all night for those tickets!
My favorite concert recently was seeing my friend's band play a few weeks ago. RIP dude...
Elton John at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. We're talking around 1983ish because he was promoting his "Too Low For Zero" album. Elton, his music, and his light-show were magical.

Nine Inch Nails, the Jim Rose Circus with Marylin Manson. Although it was a close call between that and my first real concert AC/DC with QueensrycheWench says,
