Like when you come around a corner, either in a store or on the street, and someone else comes around another corner and inadvertently falls into step beside you and it's like you are walking together but you aren't so you have to adjust your speed so you're not "with" them anymore... I hate that. :)

When you're walking down the sidewalk and someone is coming toward you and you both move in the same direction to get out of each other's way. When it happens multiple times, even worse. Also, when you're out at dinner and you have gas and your belly makes an obvious weird squeaky noise. We've all been there, don't lie. =P

When people offhandedly speak poorly of another person as some type of conversation starter/filler. First it can get awkward when you don't want to participate and then gets really awkward when you have to verbalize the inappropriateness of "talking smack".

It is odd to me that it is socially acceptable to say something about someone that you would never have the nerve to say to them directly.
