I usually buy one from the vets selling them outside the grocery store...but they weren't there. I like to hug them and tell them thanks too. Guess I'm going to have to go vet hunting.
Yes, we did. We actually went through the road block while looking at houses. Ours were "Forget-Me-Nots" this year, but still for the local veterans. It was so hot while there were standing out there. I felt for them and thanked them.
You can always go you your nearest American Legion Post, Vet's Hospital, etc. Or ask me, I'd be happy to send some. The poppies are sold to assist the Vets in the hospital. The monies are use to buy personal products like soap, razors, shaving cream, etc. Please don't forget them.
About Six-Word Questions

This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. I keep mine in the basement, but I know of several public places where they can be found bearing poppies and rememberances.accidentaltourist says,
