Wench says,

She's got her quirks and she's got absolutely no filter. In the past this has resulted in a hundred teenage explosions of rage and 'nobody gets me' fits. But marriage and motherhood have given me some new perspective and I realize I do love my mom, so much.

accidentaltourist says,

I do. We are very much alike, and sometimes it makes my heart sing....other times it slaps me right in the face.

marymc says,

More now that I realize most of her criticism comes from her insecurities, and I don't have to make them mine.

jl333 says,

I did when she was alive. I called her frequently to tell her I loved her.

maryjane31 says,

Yes very much so. She had that nice personality and you always enjoyed talking with her. The only thing she ever criticized me for was sometimes she did not like some of the dresses or clothes I wore and let me know it! It bothered me sometimes but I liked them so I wore them. Only mother/daughter stuff but we basically got along. I have her very Irish blue eyes as do all six of us!

Believe says,

Yes. (most) All of the time.

TheAngstyPoet says,

I do know better than I did before. My mother and I are different on some things and in concordance in other matters. It's luck of the draw. But we do if we're not on each other's nerves.
