A call from my boy.
Hubby telling me to take a nap while he makes dinner.
Chinese take-out.
The check actually being in the mail.
Pizza right out of the oven.
The in-laws heading to Florida for the winter.
Nothing ever makes me smile so wide as when my sons come home to visit. All my neighbors watch when the car pulls into our driveway and one even captured my smile and me hugging my youngest son who by the way is 6'2 and I am 5'3, with his camera. Came out beautiful and so real!!!! But I cry when they have to leave as I want them to be home always. But boys grow into men and I have to let them go.(But not in my heart).
-The sound of my beloved's laughter.
-Seeing my cat appear in a window as I return home from someplace.
-A chorus of frogs singing
-My nephews
-Fried chicken
-The arrival of seed catalogs in February
-The talent of Reggie Watts
-Hearing a good pun
About Six-Word Questions
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?
