BGourley says,

Sorry. I realize the hyphenation is a cheat, but I couldn't find a way to be clear in exactly six.

I think I could do longer than most, but I don't know how long that is.

Sagacious says,

Probably more than most. I'm not exactly a social butterfly.

Dean6805 says,

I would make it long enough to finish a good book or two, and then I'd be ready to snap. I'm WAY extroverted.

Believe says,

I could catch up on a little sleep, read, finish a knitting project or two... So I guess probably a good while.

jl333 says,

AS long as it's not in a tiny place, I could last a while. I'd feel clausterphobic if confined to a small space. I need lots of room to breathe, even if I am by myself.

marymc says,

Well, I spent 10 years in a condo, alone, self-employed at home with a surly teenager flitting in and out. Does that count?

accidentaltourist says,

I have to wonder which is worse, the "solitary" or the "confinement"?

JAD says,

wouldn't make it:)

novice says,

I could sleep for the next 6 months, neither solitary nor confinement would bother me at all :).

Wench says,

I'd lose it. You aren't just alone, you're in a small cell that is monitored constantly - knowing I was being watched, being isolated but constantly seen, that would get to me.

Steve__Anthony says,

BGourley, at a certain level I think my whole life's been solitary confinement.

MsKillie says,

I don't mind being alone, though I would miss my dudes and my cats. If I was able to have paper and a writing utensil- it could be a dream come true though. Finally the time and quiet to write my memoirs!

MrsPremise says,

I'm good alone, but I'd need something to do with my hands.

skyrocketjones says,

If younger, just throw me and my pencils, beads, clay and paper on an island and come back in 5 years. The older me, wouldn't last 2 days. Shucks! I can't even stay away from SmithMag longer than a couple weeks anymore (barring work and family emergencies)! People are way too interesting and such a neat variety.
