marymc says,

I can't.

Dean6805 says,

Neither can I. I used to not be able to write about my childhood, but have since dealt with my experiences and have both blogged and written Six-Word Memoirs alluding to that part of my life. Still, there are things I simply wish not to bring up, especially in a medium as permanent as writing.

Wench says,

The truth. Not even in code. Not about this.

ba_miracle says,

Truths that don't have statutes of limitations.
Secrets that are not mine to tell.

My friends know all about me and I'm open (too open sometimes to the general public:-). How I grew up, things I've done, things I want to do.
The causes I support are usually close to my heart.

When we keep secrets, especially ones regarding abuse as a child, they become our dirty little secrets, as if children should ever feel shame for the actions of the adults. So many people carry shame that they do not own.

Secrets are the poisons to happiness

mzejay says,

Thanks for sharing you all as much as you have. I appreciate it.
