Having suffered from migraine/cluster headaches for many years I would beg someone to kill me! Finally after many years of meds that did not really work, I found a wonderful neurologist here in Florida who got the right medication on the first try. It has no narcotic in it and works. I don't know if I can mention it here. Its a med that has been around for years and none of the doctors in N.J. ever even thought of it. My doctor here told me it was because I had what is known as Cluster headaches with migraine as well. No one knows the horrible pain but one who suffers. Thank heavens I did not get them frequently as some do, but when I did it was HELL and I wished to die.zuleika says,
Thank you both for your answers. I was wondering whether I have migraines, but if I have to wonder I suppose I probably do not. I don't wish to die yet, though my head has been feeling like it's been stabbed for more than 24 hours. (Well, actually I don't know what stabbing feels like, but it hurts. a lot.) but I'm not praying for death, so I guess I can narrow it down a bit.maryjane31 says,
Really hope you see your doctor. I did have to have a CAT scan but it came out negative which was good. When you have pain like that you really should have it checked out.
