What was your hard-to-kick childhood habit?

Ohhh....you had to ask. Thumb-sucking. If I was old enough to make the conscious decision to quit, I surely must have been past the age of giving that up. P.S. My teeth are perfect. Take THAT, Dr. Spock!

Bit my nails to the quick until college; enrolled in psych experiment to stop while there. Don't remember a direct correlation, but soon after I gave it up for good!

Sucked my thumb til I was eight. Also, I used to build little fireplaces out of sticks. That didn't seem to go over well at summer camp.

Getting into fights (especially physical ones), mostly defending "the little guy" and I was scrawny and scrappy as heck. It took until my late 20's to finally harness that energy and put it to positive use.
