I've come to realize, it takes nothing away from me to offer a 2nd chance; my perception of what happened vs. what might've really happened and why can differ. That said, there are also times when "I'm done and never again"; depends on some of my boundaries they may have crossed.
I give and give and forgive to a point. Like the above statements, once a line is crossed, I am DONE. Experience has taught me that after a second chance, the problem often repeats itself more fiercely.
About Six-Word Questions
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?
