The youngest of three and, if you include my step-siblings, the youngest of eight. I'm 46 years old. A what point do I stop being the baby, fa God's sake?!
Marymc, I love that. I am the oldest and a lot of the traits that go with it. My husband is also the oldest so we both think we are in charge, gets funny sometimes.
I, too, am the eldest. I begrudgingly became the matriarch of my family upon the death of my great aunt. Her and I were extremely similar, so I guess it was a natural progression. My mother and grandmother are both living, but unwilling to fill the role.
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?
