In the city, it would be the Minneapolis Institute of Art. I love going, especially on Sunday mornings, getting a chai and reading the paper and walking through the galleries.
Outside the city, it would be the cabin up north. Nothing like sitting on the deck, watching the sun rise or set, or jumping in the cool, sparkling water in the heat.
Every response I have read, I have journeyed to your 'church' in my mind, and I gotta say, you are a 'devout' and 'holy' people. I love it. I have been in the thick of so many things, the only solitude I've had I've scraped together piecemeal. Mostly, it's come down to scraps of fiction and the shower. Pretty lame, I know. But I don't waste anything. Every time I close my eyes, I'm savoring that moment. And I've been remembering a lot more of my dreams than usual, which I've been treasuring.
