I'm afraid to, I have three books that I took out for my final project in college some four years ago and never returned. I still have them. Maybe I can drop them off and then bolt for the front door and then come back later and apply for a new card under my new name. =Pcanadafreeze says,
Read it a few years ago. Fabulous book. Recently read "Half Broke Horses" by the same author. Another gem.maryjane31 says,
Also read "Half Broke Horses" and loved it as well. Jeanette Walls is a fabulous writer. Has she written anything recently?Believe says,

Just checked this book out from the library. Out of ALL the libraries here in San Diego, only one library had it on the shelf. All other copies in the city have been checked out. I have every intention of reading the book, however, lately my spare time has been consumed with an even that I'm doing. I will try to read the book, because it looks and sounds funny. I can hardly wait for the discussion
