I hate to say it, but decriminalizing marijuana might actually help a little with drug wars in Mexico and solve the problem of prisons filled with people whose only offense was being caught with too many ounces of it. Other countries have decriminalized marijuana and treated drug use as an addiction, not a crime, with remarkable success. Personally, I hate stoners. I hate the way people behave when they're high. I have some medical marijuana in my refrigerator. James used it twice during chemo and didn't like the "fuzzy" way his mind felt. It was costly even with insurance. How this comment came out of your memoir makes me think I dipped into his stuff. Anyway, love the memoir.
