So hard to choose : Edna O'Brien, Alexander McCall Smith, PD James, Tom Keneally, Geraldine Brooks/ The Bible, Complete works of Robert Frost and ditto WB Yeats, Yancy's What's so amazing about grace? Little House on the Prairie series just a few that really move me.
I love to read and have a very open agenda. Books and authors appeal to me on different levels. I just finished reading a non-fiction book called My Stroke of Insight, by Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D., I had heard an interview with her and was fascinated by the subject matter. I just started reading "Gone Girl", by Gillian Flynn, a work of fiction. It appealed to me after reading a sample on my iPad:-)
Real love is Robert B. Parker. Miss him so much. Next I like Debbie MacComber. Next after that is Eat, Pray, Love. Read it every day for a year. Like an oracle. I'm going to start reading it again. Mystery author favorite is Margaret Truman. I like lots of books, but I especially like prolific writers who write a series with same characters.
