I've got way too much time these days. My question is more how do I fill the time. I've been cooking a lot more, taking my son on walks, visiting friends, helping my sister get her new house ready to move into, anything to distract myself from all the damn time I have.
I kind of miss wondering how I would squeeze all the necessary minutes into a day. I'm hoping for a happy medium sometime soon.
People actually ask me this question a lot, because I am very productive, and I always kind of hate it. I always see the things on the list that are not yet checked off instead of the things that are getting done. I'm wondering if it means I am juggling with no larger purpose except to get stuff done.
So this is where I pose the question from: how do I find the time and not fill the time yet feel like what I am doing is a higher quality experience.
About Six-Word Questions
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?
