I didn't realize when I started posting my memoirs, that I would like it so much. Now I have quite a few and I'm wondering how do I keep them for me? Do you all type them in a word doc or something on your computers? Is there a way to print out the ones we've posted, like from our profiles? I don't have a printer, but I did try at Kinkos and wasn't successful. Just wondered what anyone else does. I never can remember mine....what a writer, huh? So I kind of need to have them in my possession somewhere, somehow. Thought of actually just writing them out each day in a journal, but that's too much. Suggestions?

I just pray that SMITHMAG will hang around always and have them available like now.butterflyxxx says,
I copy (highlight, right click, copy)lists of mine from my profile page and post in Word, then print a paper copy. I edit out the by KharisJo/butterflyxxx lines in the Word copy to condense. Stories, poetry, blog entries, anything I write I keep a paper copy as well. It only takes the hard drive to fail and all is lost otherwise.Dragonflower says,
Yes, I grew up with the mantra, back up, back up, back up. (really old school - Drive A to Drive B. hahaha.....but I never lost the lesson. The software guys used to love to say, "Well, do you have a backup?"
Thanks for the tip on how to copy/paste. I was wondering if there was faster way. I was in a hurry at Kinkos because of cost/time, so I'll do that part at home, with the edits.
Are you Kharis Jo also? I gather that from your comment, but not sure, buterflyxxx.

I had no idea how to save the memoirs either. Thanks Autumn for asking fellow memoirists. Thanks to KharisJo/butterflyxxx for sharing how to do it.butterflyxxx says,

I have saved a few....they grew into blog posts or poems....but a handful that were very memorable and meaningful for me were sacrificed on the altar of peacekeeping a few months ago. I mourn their loss, but life goes on.Dragonflower says,
I have emailed some to myself too. They just have added up so fast! Didnt expect that when I started.
