I absolutely agree, unknown! The people I have known are too busy yacking themselves to ever get to know me. Except one. But he kept everything he learned about me to himself, so I thought he just ignored me most of the time. (ie no back and forth conversations).I used to attend a 12step meeting for Adult Children. We got 5 min to speak without being interrupted. That was heaven to me and 5 min felt like 5 hours. Kind of like how the six words feel like a whole book sometimes.
I am grateful I no longer have to just talk to myself. I think I will use that in my acceptance speech that Believe has asked about here in Questions. !!
