I first fell in love at age 14. It lasted till I was nearly 17. But strangely enough, I met my first love shortly there after. He didn't stick around all too long, but when ever I look back and think about him, I will always smile.
Well. This was asked at my poetry class last month as an ice breaker. My answer was Sidney Poitier. When I saw To Sir with Love. I was prob. 14. I still love him. Sigh.
But in real life I was 25. Lasted 5 years. I gave up waiting for him to finish his dissertation. It consumed the whole relationship after a while. He always has a spot in my heart.
14 - 15. We lived in the same group home and were not allowed to date but we did. We lived in wings opposite of each other and could send signals to each other from the large windows across the courtyard. He was very groomed and well put together. Six months or so after dating he realized he was gay but said that he loved me and wanted to stay together...silly us.
Still think of him fondly as a dear one (one of the benefits of being separated before we were ready to end).
I was 15, he was 23 and my manager. He was telling me about a train bridge by his house that was really high above the river that him and his friends dare each other to cross. I said I'd do it no problem, so he took me there one day. When we got to the bridge, he said that he couldn't actually let me do it because he liked me too much and then he kissed me. We dated for 2 years after that!

18. We dated for two years, right until the day I met his fiancé. That put a solid end to it.
