I had a few that meant quite a lot when I wrote them, but they no longer exist. There are many that linger as whispers in my heart, though.

Dragonflower says,

Yes, the one that got me interested in Smith mag. It was in early 2011 and I saw it in an O magazine issue my neighbor gave me. (Oprah's mag).

Loving heart for sale. Like new.

I still have it up where I have lots of inspirational messages.

Dragonflower says,

oops, sorry. You asked for 2012 memoir.

I've just read since Nov. There are quite a few I thought were especially funny and some so poetic. There was one recently like that. I will try to recollect it. It was beautiful.

For my own memoirs, I feel there is a magic about sending my most worrisome or heartfelt words out in the universe after being touched by the Smith community. One was "Should I? What would Santa do?" and its follow up, "Heart felts need no further explanation." My own Christmas miracle.

"Love is balm that soothes souls." lovelylizard

There are many more. Thank you, memorists.

That was JAD hieronimo, When I wrote it, I was even touched:) I remember you giving me my props.

unknown116 says,

JAD, I never saw that memoir, but it's pretty dang powerful.
And it's not a six, but it was a response to someone's six that I love: Don't yuck someone's yum.

canadafreeze says,

... don't yuck someone's yum is from marymc, I do believe ...

JAD says,

Thanks, unknown116.

TeaTopper says,

Wow! Thank you, Redx3. One of my many favorites is by Clevy, who contributed a few memoirs in March of 2012: "Wallflowers can become wildflowers. I did."

Steve__Anthony says,

Contemplating change. Decided to pocket it. Canadafreeze.

It also LOVE your ELEPHANT stories. Didn't think anyone noticed?

"Hard working. Earnest. But no Hemingway." By me is also a favorite on mine.

"Wisdoms live in all my afterthoughts" -Steve Anthony
And Autumn22, I am absolutely flattered that you picked one of my memoirs(:

Dragonflower says,

SingerSomewhere, it's what I love about the memoirs here_-- how they can touch on something so eloquently. They help in the darkest hours, or they lift you up with humor. Yours touched on an aspect of my life so succiently it was like you were speaking just to me.

Redx3 says,

@teatopper- it resonates with me as a reminder that we write our own histories and destinies. Too often, I haven't liked the mural and realized I was the artist.
That is why Smith is so enlightening. Each of us refracts, brightening another's room.

JAD says,

That's ok hieronimo, I have the pleasure of knowing long after I'm gone that memoir will be embedded in your memory somewhere.

One of the first...to grab me into the site.
Dear karma, you missed a few.

I took this one to heart and with me on my California visit. I gave love just a little more warmly, held my best friends 3 month old just a little more snugly and appreciated the love I have that much more graciously. (no, I have not always embraced love graciously)

Makes me laugh every time: You: I like my version better. By Jessica_Leichsenring

Only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Might need my own awards night gala to list all of my favorites.
