To have my entire family together. That would include my 5 siblings with their spouses. Also my nieces and nephews and their spouses and children. My children and grandkids of course. We would have to rent out a very large Hall to accommadate everyone but what a wonderful event that would be. I might be able to make this happen perhaps next year. We are not getting any younger.
I share maryjane's thought...to have my entire family together. We are scattered across the country. That number would include my siblings and their families, along with those of my mother's siblings that remain, and my children and grandchildren. We will gather in groups of various sizes, all or in part, and in separate locations...but there's no way we could all be in one place.
My half brother, his wife, and their two kids. I only met my half brother when I was very young. The others I have only talked to on the phone. I would love to see them all in person and get to know them.
My hubby children grandkids and 5 great granddaughters of course but most of all the 50 or more cousins I've never met(True story) dad had eleven brothers and three sisters that we were never close to so I know they are out there somewhere. What a blessing that would be.
JAD I myself have 36 cousins, most of who I have never met. These are lst cousins too. Last I heard most live in the PA area and one family right up in Virginia. Would be awesome to find them. Or maybe not. Should we let sleeping dogs lie?
I think it would be really great if all the friends I've made in my lifetime could meet up again. Sometimes we meet people and are friends for a while, but for one reason or another, you just move on and lose touch. And I don't mean the FB kind of getting in touch, or a class reunion kind of thing, but more like a real family homecoming. That would be real nice.
My daughter always makes my holidays complete. Spending time with her, my wonderful son-in-law, and their pets always makes me so, so happy. Simple things.
Christmas was so wonderful! All of my family came to my new house for our first Christmas here: Mom and Dad, brother, sis in law and their kids, and me and my children. Are there other people I'd like to see? Yes. But these are the only ones I need to feel complete.
Having my friend back who passed away a few months ago. My heart hurts everytime I think about it, and seeing his sister try to go on without her completely opposite "twin" makes it hurt even more...
