Actually what was worse for me, I believe it was in the 70s, the tail-end of the sexual revolution, when you witnessed the craze of GROWN 'gay' men on Castro St. ,in the notorious 'gay ghetto' of San Francisco, carrying TEDDY BEARS! I mean, they were serious the way they clutched them, you felt they had really finally found a FRIEND in life! (?)
