Germany or Poland. Their Christmas is colorful, sparkly, glittery, etc. without being electric and neon. Shopping the huge Christmas markets prior to Christmas in Germany is on my bucket list. The short list.
I'm always a bit gloomy around this time of year. Ireland gets that. Beer in pubs with low ceilings and chilly nights with collars turned up around the neck. That, and I want to see the cottage where my great-grandmother was born.
Okay Steve, is it the Christmas markets or the Christmas beer, hmmm???
