I have always all my life had a problem with forgiving. I forgave an in-law once and they repeated. I am the one who felt sick. Never again! I have to leave it up to the Good Lord to forgive as that is His job not mine.
Ironically yes. I forgive wrongs from those who do not even seek pardon, which makes my willingness to look beyond the hurt not necessarily healthy for me.
My family call me the peacemaker so my answer is yes I try anyway.
About Six-Word Questions
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?
