Dean6805 says,

Awakened in the night by the sound of a child running down the hallway. This was in the rental in which we lived for over two years. There were no young children in the house. Jen was also awakened by a child laughing. We heard the sounds of someone walking around in the kitchen/dining room area several times, and heard a man's voice, too. I had never had firsthand experiences with unexplained phenomena before that, and I still can't say whether what we heard was paranormal... but it wasn't normal.

I had an orange cat named, Bill. So devoted, so loving. He was my pal. Every night he would crawl up from the foot of the bed and sleep on my chest, his nose an inch or so from mine. I could feel his breath. Every night. Then he got sick and I had to put him down. I was inconsolable. And that night, I felt him crawl up from the foot of my bed, to sleep on my chest, his nose an inch from mine. I could feel his breath. I never experienced that again, but I knew he'd always be with me. Two days later, my son (then 5) said, "I know Bill's gone, but he came to see me last night."

Thanks, marymc. We have ghost animals here too. Our living pets take special notice of them. Not to mention our resident "baby ghost" who is quite a prankster. Likes to knock things off pantry shelves and run through the house.

There used to be a boy spirit that played in the hallways at work. He was about 8. I would play with him by ducking down by the file cabinets. He would dodge in and out of the office doorways like he was playing hide and seek. One day a coworker and I started talking and we both had seen him several times on the days / evenings we worked alone in the building.

Got pregnant. Saw mirror. Saw MOM!
