I used to think that I would have liked to have lived in the 19th century but having just lived like that for over a week I now know that I most certainly prefer to live with the conveniences of the subsequent centuries.
Level1 must have just gone through Hurricane Sandy or something similar. Our modern conveniences sure are handy, aren't they? We went a week without water and electricity after an earthquake once. When the lights came back on I wanted to kiss all the PG&E people! But I think I lived in the era where I would have lived in a Victorian house. Everytime I am in a Victorian, I feel very deja vu-ey and thata feeling like I am home. However, I wouldn't like the lack of plumbing or having to wear so much clothing as in Victorian times. But I definitely feel at home. I have 40s hair though, with waves and the side part. I'm polite like aristocracy. So maybe I've lived quite a few lives? I definitely don't seem to fit in now though.
