Nope ...Wench says,
Having met my Mr. Right, I'm far more interested in making great connections and forming lasting friendships. =)Also, you may be amused to know that in typing this out on my phone, my auto-spell thing suggested these words - "bondage" "frogmen" and "jarvis". True story.

Wench, that sounds like the foundation for a gripping novel. AT, nope. I seek where the path takes me first. Having met Jen was a happy accident, and I believe it only happened because my heart told me to follow that particular (although far from easy) path.accidentaltourist says,
Thanks for the input...I see a lot of scrabbling for the perfect connection all around me. That almost desperate quest is as much the impetus behind my standard "is this all there is?" as anything else in life.Dean6805 says,
While I can't deny the biological imperative, I like to think we can find the intellectual (and ideological) muscle to fight it and seek more fulfilling relationships in our lives.Wench says,
It seems silly to me to be desperately trying to find the One. I kind of feel like singleness is a skill - learning how to happily function without someone else. Then, if it's meant to be, the One will naturally come along. And if they don't, at least you weren't miserable, waiting.accidentaltourist says,
Fascinating discussion. Thanks, all....I love the exchange.
