I saw "Lion King" with my daughter and mom. Now sure what was more entertaining ... the show or the awe in both my mom and daughter's faces. It was a first for both of them.
I saw Sweeney Todd with Len Cariou & Angela Lansbury. I saw Dream Girls with Jennifer Holliday, Sheryl Lee Ralph & Loretta Devine. It does not get much better than that.
I forgot to mention so many of these in my comment! Lion King, Oklahoma, Godspell, Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, Newsies...the list goes on! I guess I don't have a favorite.

Tough choice. Probably a tie between Fiddler on the Roof and 1776, but there are so many great ones.maryjane31 says,

I haven't seen them all yet...how could I pick? I like the classics, like "Anything Goes." I love "Phantom." I adore "Rent." And "Wicked."SingerSomewhere says,
I agree it's a hard choice. Based on the soundtrack, it would probably be a tie between Into the Woods and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.MO_Thoughts2 says,
