MJ, the feeling i get about you is that you are a very kind person, very generous and a loyal friend BUT you have a "do not cross" line in your personality. when anyone crosses that line, those who know you well can see the warning signs and they think to themselves, "o-k, he (she) is gonna wish (s)he hadn't said/done that..."
this is not meant to be negative - i think it's healthy to have boundaries and i can't imagine yours would be unreasonable. am a way off base?
@NumbrOneAunt: It is unbelievable that you hit the nail on the head!! It is I do not open up alot to people or even dear friends. I feel like I dont want to reveal some painful things so I never speak of them. In time I do speak but it is hard for me. You are really uncanny NumbrOneAunt. Every thing you said is true.
I think so. I believe that most of our memoirs tells the community how we really are. Once you read a particular person's memoirs, you get a feel for thier personality. Wow NumbrOneAunt---I want a personal reading from you!
Yes I can feel Hemingway when I read him and several others like Sylvia Plath. I actually could sense her overwhelming depression in her writing. If only they had "hung on". That is one of my favorite expressions when someone including myself is depressed. I say "Hang in there".
Feeling like a million only means your mood is good that day. Two different concepts.
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?

awesome post - and I love your memoirs. I often get a feel for some of the sixers. I "feel" you are watchful and observant and maybe very centered.jl333 says,
