Gave a guy some free medical supplies yesterday. He stopped by at 2 to see if his special order had come in, but UPS doesn't show up until 3, so I gave him some basic yet functional supplies to get him through the day.
Earlier this week, drastically discounted a person's bill. The nursing home ordered equipment & supplies for his mom, then refused the invoice. The family reluctantly agreed to assume the charges, but honestly, it was the nursing home's screw up so I reduced the costs down to our cost for him. That cut the bill down about $200.00.
Wow that's awesome MO_Thoughts2! I can somewhat empathize with you in the nursing home setting. I worked in one for two and a half years. They always forgot something.
About twenty minutes ago I removed someone's soiled underthings, wiped their butt for them and slathered it with diaper cream so it wouldn't get a rash overnight.
Ok, so that's life as per usual, but he sure can't do it by himself yet!
