many years ago i was toying with the idea of getting a tattoo. found a shop that did mehndi tattoos, i.e. tattoos in ink that eventually wear off. got the mehndi tattoo, and it was really interesting. i really liked what they did, but after about 5 days i found myself thinking, "boy, i'm glad this is gonna wear off."
I second the temporary tats. We once had a family get together and I henna tattooed all the kids. It was so much fun. The loved it and a few days later it was gone.
SMITH Magazine brings you an entirely new kind of six-word experience: Six-Word Questions. This is the place to pose a question to the SMITH community from, "What are your favorite Six-Word quotations" to challenging members to pen Six-Word Obituaries to the recently departed to Six-Word jokes and any other Six-Word question you can dream up. You can even request that the responses be in six words. Everyone has a question—what's yours?

Dragon tramp-stamp (how cliché), sun and moon together in one circle on my upper left arm. Designed both, drew exact version of sun and moon and had it transferred to my arm. Thinking about adding a dove below, resting on a tree branch. If we have a girl, ever, we'll name her "Olive" and then I'd like to add an olive branch in the dove's mouth. I'm also thinking about getting the symbol of Constantine's cross on my shoulder blade (my son's name is Constantine and my saint's name is St. Helena, who found the cross of Christ.)accidentaltourist says,

That is pretty much the way I feel, Mary. I do not have a tattoo. If I were to get one it would be a skeleton key. Not sure where.NumbrOneAunt says,
