It depends on the person. I'm often more revealing in answers to other memoirs.

Dean6805 says,

Your Six made me re-read the memoirs I've favorited. It was a great exercise, and I'm glad I did it. That said, my own memoirs tend to be pretty much about me, my family or my thought processes, so they're the more revealing.

SingerSomewhere says,

It's a toss up for me. There are some memoirs I favorite that I would never have the courage to write, since I know another sixer in real life. However, sometimes my own words reveal more than any memoir I could favorite.

accidentaltourist says,

The reasons for favoriting are varied...sometimes because the sentiment touches us on a deep personal level, and it's something we wish had said ourselves, but just as often (for me) because the word play tickles us, or the message speaks powerfully and well...even if it is not our own message. So I think our own memoirs are more revealing of our inner selves. But then...there's poetic license to consider....hmmm..

gee, waffle much, AT? ;)

I rarely favorite... I think I've done that maybe 3 times. I comment A LOT (you may have noticed.) What I write has been a diary of 2 of the worst years of my life.
