Have you ever felt a presence around you that you can't explain? Or when I wake up I hear someone call my name. It sounds like my mother. But whoever it is they seem pleasant. My best girlfriend from high school died tragically at the age of 50. I sometimes hear her call my name as well.It is definitely her voice and she sounds happy and pleasant. Really weird, but true.
Sure they do ..... I've felt, heard and seen my dad who died when I was 6 months old. Sometimes in my sleep, but also in the awake world. Truly believe he's my guardian angel who has saved me a couple times.
I feel so much better after reading your comments. I have always believed that people we cared so much for and who cared so much for us, do in fact just stop in to say "Hi". It does not frighten me in any way, and I wish I really could talk with them. Thanks for the comments!
I had a difficult time years ago and a dear friend had passed away the year before. I felt her presence during that time so fully that it is difficult to explain. I have lost many loved ones, most recently my mom. I don't feel her though.
There is research to activate certain areas in the brain that will create a sense of presence...very interesting stuff.
