Mourningdove says,

I can't think of any........

marymc says,

me either.

Loon says,

gone with the wind, maybe?

Loon says,

the godfather

JAD says,

Loon, I agree.

JAD says,

on Gone with the wind. We were responding at the same time.

Believe says,

The Devil Wears Prada

marymc says,

Never read The Godfather, but now I think I need too, as that's one of my favorite movies. Prada and GWTW are 2 where I'd say the movie was as good. Maybe I'm just such a book person, even though I'm visual, I prefer to do my own casting.

duffboy6 says,

Though I haven't read it, even Homer Simpson agrees that "The Bridges of Madison County" is not a very good book (I loved the movie, by the way).

ctgoods2 says,

Fight Club and I Am Legend are neck and neck with their respective books.

favepeep says,

I read Atonement just before seeing the movie. Loved the book; loved the movie.

Wench says,

No Country For Old Men. Anton Chigur's character speaks too philosophically in the book which detracts from the intimidation that Javier Bardem nails in the movie.

TeaTopper says,

"Fried Green Tomatoes". Still watch it on cable every time.

marymc says,

Good one TeaTopper!!! I agree!!!

Level1 says,

The Shining

Loon says,

the Bible

Loon says,

The Ten Commandments

MonkeyBite says,

I love to read, but just couldn't get into Girl with a Dragon Tattoo... yet I LOVED the movie(s)!

Dean6805 says,

Jaws. Read the book, was somewhat underwhelmed. The movie, however, had me out of the Gulf for an entire summer.
