Backstory
In the King James Bible, Song of Solomon 2:15 reads, "Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes."In late September, according to Hal Borland, "Wild grapes ripen. We pick, simmer, and make jelly. Birds love the grapes. So do foxes, and 'possums."
