Tara Seibel earned a BFA from Edinboro University. The Cleveland native worked in Chicago designing menus, illustrated patterns for a package design company and designed gift wrap for the American Greetings Company. She did, and continues to do, editorial illustrations for magazines. Mrs. Seibel draws and write comics, which reflect her experiences in Cleveland and Chicago. Tara has had her work published in The FunnyTimes, Cleveland Freetimes, US Catholic, HEEB, Mineshaft, Chicago NewCity and SMITH Magazine. She’s illustrated the work of comic book writer Harvey Pekar (American Splendor). She is currently working on a graphic novel as well as a forthcoming project with Pekar. Tara lives in Cleveland with her husband Aaron and three children Lauren, Patrick and Oscar.
