That pretty much captures the awkwardness of that age… minus the stabbing some poor kid with a homemade weapon. Nice! Funny story, Shawn, with beautiful pictures to match. Kat, you master the organic as well as the Technicolor nightmare as shown in your last tale.
They say the truth behind a man is through the pages of his comic’s. So what does that tells us about Shawn ?? Immmm…… Well a man who analyzes the world around him, willing to express himself (Violiently if Required), probably thinks a little to much, not an athlele, but has a lot of ” Social Currency “, most important able to model his life through super heros and at the end of the day “What does not kill him makes him stranger”
Coming ov age stories have always given me such great nostalgia. I’m so glad I choose not to go through such embarrassing experiences similar to this one . Kat, your art speaks for it’s self… it’s truly the gift that keeps on given.
I LOVE that title! And the story is great–I can definitely identify with the main character. Love the art, especially the light-saber panel.
Hi Shawn,
I so enjoyed it! The character is certainly someone we can all relate to. I particularly loved Mom locking him out! Great work!
Peace Out,
Joan

Another great comix combo to watch out for!
Nicely done!
Looks great! I love the mom and the light saber panels the best, and the coloring is gorgeous..
Love how the story ends, adds maturity to the story.
Ow. Painful in all the right places.
