John, what a story. Was the house really that bad? What happened to that poor Billy. How could anyone live in that atmosphere? You drew it almost too convincingly…..
    Thanks you do great work

Well, I got to see this story develop and take shape, but this is the first time I been able to just sit down and read it. What an exquisite collision of thoughts and emotions, all perfectly presented in John’s classic comics stylings. I think its these weird, awkward moments of our childhoods that stick with us and resonate the most. You did a great job capturing this one. Great layouts and beautiful linework. Top notch!

Boy, that sticks forever. And you picture it so great, I even can smell it …

Love all the visuals in the house! You really take us into that squalid hellhole!

  5. Maurice Fontenot

Excellent job, John. From art to script is was funny, sad and gross at the same time. Great stuff!

  6. Tim Hamilton

Right! Like Maurice said, funny, sad and…then more sad.
What happened to them eventually? That’s what I want to know.

Nice work, John. I think your approach and execution fir the story perfectly. I can’t wait to see what you do next!

I meant to say “your approach and execution FIT the story perfectly.” Mr. Czop, you know I am anti-fir and always will be.

It was a good strip. I have seen a lot of those kinds of houses myself. I rented to people and they had trash 8 inches deep in the house in 6 months and had a baby crawling around on it?

Hello, I do think your blog could be having internet browser compatibility issues. Whenever I look at your website in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues. I just wanted to provide you with a quick heads up! Besides that, great site!
