What's Your Next-Door Neighbor Story?

She Was Rolling On the Street Singing the "Mission Impossible" Theme Song

On a sunny afternoon I was playing basketball on my driveway with my friend. We spotted my neighbor peeking at us through her living room window and when she saw us looking at her, she came outside to join us. After a few calm minutes of playing basketball, my friend and I turn around to see my neighbor rolling around in the middle of the street. "Marcy! What are you doing!?" we cried. Her hands were clasped together in the shape of a gun and she was singing the Mission Impossible theme song at the top of her lungs. Her mother stood at their front door and called at her to stop. No matter what we said she continued to roll on the ground, scraping her arms against the pavement, blood dripping from every individual cut. Cars were swerving all around her yet she wasn't afraid, she thought this was funny. "MARCY! I'm calling the police if you don't get off the road RIGHT NOW!" Her mother began screaming at the top of her lungs. Marcy ignored her and continued to roll and sing, "Du na naaaah"'s which echoed down the street. Sadly, Marcy's mother never phoned the police, but she did send out her husband and Marcy's brother to carry Marcy back inside their house. My friend and I stood in silence for the next 30 seconds, finally we just erupted into laughter. Neither of us had ever seen anything so hilarious and so random before. I mean, it's not every day that you see a heavy set, crazy girl roll around the street singing the Mission Impossible theme song.

This took place over 7 years ago and the laughter hasn't ceased.
