everyone has an ex

why am i not good enough to be wanted?

except me.

i'm 18, i'm a girl, i'm tired of my friends telling me the boys are just intimidated, i'm tired of them complimenting me to make me feel better. it just makes me question the things they don't compliment, it makes me question their ability to see me with clear eyes.

if i could have one thing right now, i would want someone to sit down and tell me the honest, no-holds-barred truth: why am i not good enough to be wanted?

at least then i would know.

androtron says,

Someone, somewhere wants you. And plenty more want you for the wrong reasons. You should always be much more afraid of the people who do want you than of never being wanted at all.

Times are changing. If you still expect men to do the things that they used to do when they wanted a woman, when women were teammates and not aggressive competitors for resources in the open market, you may find that romance of that kind is now dead and it isn't coming back, I'm sorry.

Also, the man who likes you probably just got away from AnaW and doesn't want to have anything to do with women for awhile.
