Catholic. Kosher store. Purim. Sweet innocence.
Backstory
My neighbor and dialectical behavior therapy groupmate is kind enough to save me hours of waiting in the cold for medical transportation and drives me back and forth with him to sessions. I feel badly because at snack time he can't usually eat what the instructors provide. And he even brings me bottled water since inevitably I forget my own.To be thoughtful, I went to Glatt 27 the day before Purim to get him and the rest of our group Kosher type of protein bar (NuGo). Quite yummy. I didn't understand all the fuss and the extreme crowding and politely waited in line at the checkout. Later to find out about Purim and innocently picked one of the most crowded days of business for the store. Would do it all over again to return his kind favor.
