Backstory
I have a " strange " connection with a tight knit community in the Deal area of NJ. Sometimes, the question does come up as to the details of why/how I am at this event or that event. Clearly something signals outsider to some who do not know me. With a great amount of awkard conversation in which I balance how much these question asking folks deserve to know, these strangers really, I say stupid things in place of the detail such as " but my best friend is Jewish".
