I'm not situated to see the sunrise where I live. I guess I don't face east, if that's even possible! haha. What a true California girl I am, believing everything is about the west!! We have spectacular sunsets though, with gorgeous skies. Both times are so beautiful and magical to witness. Every time, too. It never gets old, does it?
OK, today I found a place along a beach I don't usually go to that probably has a beautiful sunrise sky. Tomorrow I am getting up early and coming back here to check it out. Need more sunrises, less sunsets now.
Thanks for the inspiration, Layne! You are terrific!
Oh yay! I promise it's worth it:) my house faces east so I get these amazing sunrises, a bright fushia in the summertime, and it's absolutely breathtaking. Sometimes I wish I could see the sunset, to close off the days with beauty, but you'll see that the sunrise is the perfect way to start off the day. It's a hope and purity all it's own:)
Where I live, we don't see the sun for weeks at a time during the winter. It's almost always cloudy. But today we got a breach in the weather and I got to see the sunrise again. Another thing I love about that is we all see the same one: DragonEmpress in California, CanadaFreeze where ever he may be, me in my hometown, my friends I miss so dearly at the lake I spend summers. We're all connected by it, which only adds to the magic. DE, I hope your sunrise was all that you hoped, and I'm glad I could share it with you this morning:)
