As American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, creator of the comic strip "Peanuts," wrote, "Happiness is three friends in a sandbox . . . with no fighting."
Working on it, E., working on it. ;-) It's nice to post in other sections too. Not as much clutter or insanity. Cheers. Chris/meep/miss piggy Hiya if I need her to help keep the sandbox refereed.
I saw "six-word-sandbox" in one of your memoirs. I had already been trying to think of a way to turn the Schulz quotation into a Six-Word Memoir about Six-Word Memoirists in a sandbox. When I saw your sandbox phrase, the memoir I wanted to publish came to me immediately. Thanks for your comment above and for your inspiration.
E, that's perfect :) I love when we can all play (nicely) off one another's posts. Let's put Charles S. to good use. He gets my cartoon play on FB. Here, I'm apparently stuck for a while as Meep; there is Sesame Street crossover with Beeker the lab Muppet, though, so while this is a stretch, Miss Piggy's in a workable zone. Hiya.
About The Happiness Project
SMITH Magazine is teaming up with Gretchen Rubin, author of the
bestselling book, The Happiness Project, as well as the popular daily blog,
to ask readers to share their "Secrets to Happiness"—in just six
words. Gretchen writes about happiness and how to take manageable,
concrete steps to become happier in everyday life, and her own
six-word Secret to Happiness is "Accept myself; Expect more from
myself."
