There was this show on TV where you had to guess the lyrics of a song--can't remember the name of the show. My favorite was when this woman, around 41 years old, was trying to sing the lyrics to Jesse's Girl. And as a surprise, they had Rick Springfield come up behind her and start singing. She freaked out! He was so cute. He put his guitar in front of her, so his arms were around her while he played. I nearly died watching, can't imagine how she felt. I was a big GH fan back in the day too. Loved your memoir.
