There's a backstory here, somewhere.

TKO-Rich says,

Yes, there is. My father is exemplified what it is to be selfish his entire life. I've tried to make things right over and again. I've 'turned the other cheek' so many times I am dizzy...and broken both literally and figuratively. While I can make positives out of everything; such as, he is definitely one that taught me how to take a punch for if it were not for his strikes...I would not have become the fighter I am today. Subsequently, as I grow old I am blessed with a gladiator's curse...LIFE. I don't know what to do with the name he helped me make for myself and his transgressions do reflect upon what I stand for; therefore, it's time for change. I will not die as my father is dying...alone inside. Change sometimes must come in the form of severing ties, closure requires acceptance. I can't accept that I was spawned by a man that does not know me...or himself.
